Lemon Bread
Sweet and Sour creamy textured lemon bread.
Ingredients
- 2 Cup Vegetable oil
- 4 Cup Sugar
- 8 Eggs
- 5 Cup Plain Flour
- 4 Tsp Baking powder
- 2 Tsp Salt
- 2 Cup Milk
- 4 Tbsps Lemon zest
Directions
- Beat oil, sugar and zest.
- Whisk eggs into oil mix one at a time.
- Beat dry into egg mix.
- Add milk to mix.
- Bake at about 180℃ for the first 45-50mins then reduce to 170-5 until cooked.

While it is cooking make a lemon syrup with the zested lemons and sugar. When the loaves have finished cooking paint the syrup all over the bread.
Serve with strawberries and clotted cream.
